Originally from Budapest, Hungary, I made Edinburgh my home in 2005. Photography wasn’t something I had always dreamed of doing. In fact, it started quite simply. I wanted to share a few glimpses of Scotland with friends and family back in Hungary.
In 2006, I bought my first camera, a Fuji S5600 bridge camera. I had no idea at the time where that little camera would lead me. What started as a way of sharing the places I was discovering gradually turned into a genuine passion for getting out there and photographing them.
Over time, photography became a much bigger part of my life. I’ve learnt most of what I know through a mixture of books, magazines, YouTube tutorials and, probably most importantly, making an awful lot of mistakes with a camera in my hands.
