About ZenscapePhoto

Hello! I'm Zoltan, a self-taught landscape photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Originally from Budapest, Hungary, I made Edinburgh my home in 2005. Photography wasn't initially a passion of mine; rather, it began as a means to share glimpses of Scotland's beauty with loved ones back in Hungary. In 2006, I took the plunge and purchased my first camera, a Fuji s5600 Bridge camera. Little did I know, this simple act would ignite my passion for capturing the stunning landscapes of Scotland.

Over the years, my interest in photography has grown exponentially. I've dedicated myself to honing my craft through various avenues, from devouring books and magazines to immersing myself in YouTube tutorials. Of course, nothing beats the hands-on experience of capturing countless photographs.

My photography journey is driven by a deep-seated passion for creating images that evoke emotion, stir memories, and inspire creativity in others. I strive to share the beauty of Scotland's landscapes in all their varied moods, from sun-drenched vistas to moody, mist-shrouded scenes—after all, in Scotland, you can experience four seasons in a single day!

I am using a professional Nikon camera with an arsenal of lenses to capture landscapes, cityscapes, and even our beloved furry friends, regardless of their size!

As my journey in photography evolved, I found myself drawn to the tangible beauty of printed images. I firmly believe that photographs deserve more than fleeting glances on computer screens or the confines of social media platforms like Instagram. That's why I began producing prints of my work—because photographs are meant to be experienced in the real world.

In addition to prints, I've made it a yearly tradition to curate a calendar featuring some of my favourite images from the previous year. It's my way of sharing the beauty and wonder of Scotland's landscapes with people around the globe.

Over time, I've had the privilege of selling hundreds of prints and calendars worldwide. Each sale is not just a transaction but a connection—a shared appreciation for the magic captured within each image.

I am sorry but I don't allow right click due to potential image theft. If there is anything I can help with, drop me an email.
